馬總統在上午公佈年金制度的同時，民進黨也由黨主席蘇貞昌領軍，召開記者會，公佈黨版的改革主張。

民進黨版的年金制度，延長公教人員請領年齡到65歲，與勞工相同，所得替代率降到60%~70%，軍公教18%優存利率納入所得替代率。

“馬總統剛剛宣稱，每五年要修正調整一次，事實上世界各國都是以比方說20年做一個週期，來做長期收支均衡的精算，不會讓人民覺得五年後，又要再調整一次，反而造成恐慌”
而馬政府將勞保費率調高到19.5%，民進黨評估，只要調到16.25%，就能達到20年財務收支平衡。民進黨提出自己的版本，就擔心馬總統不是玩真的！

We propose an integrated community-based pension plan that will close pension payment gaps (among professions) and unite people together to help end jealousy.
The DPP’s pension reform plan extends the retirement age for civil servants and teachers to 65 years of age, the same as laborers, with the income replacement rate dropping to between 60 and 70 percent. The 18 percent preferential interest rate would be considered as part of this rate.

President Ma has just said that (pensions) should be adjusted every five years, but in fact, most other countries around the world follow a cycle where it is adjusted every 20 years. This type of long-term adjustment gives citizens more confidence. An adjustment every five years can lead many to panic.
The Ma administration plans to raise the labor insurance premium rate incrementally until it reaches 19.5 percent. The DPP believes this rate should only be adjusted to 16.25 percent, allowing the government to balance payments and expenditures in 20 years. Furthermore, the DPP believes that releasing its version of pension reform will ensure that the Ma administration remains faithful to carrying out pension reform.
