內政部今天公佈，民國103年，將推出一套整合GPS導航、實價登錄、以及國土規畫的「圖資雲TGOS CLOUD」系統，上網並製作成APP供民眾免費使用。但對於主權敏感的釣魚台，和南沙太平島區域，並沒有被劃入系統，引發爭議。
明明在高架橋上，卻指引車子要右轉，導航出錯，釀成意外的事件，層出不窮。
為了解決這個問題，內政部將在明年初推出一套「圖資雲」的雲端整合系統，並製作成APP供民眾免費使用。

透過各部會圖資套疊的「圖資雲」，初期著重防救災、民眾買房和國土規劃三大方向，
以後自己家房子值多少錢、去哪裡報案、土石流警戒，民眾都可以從裡面找到資訊。
不過對於主權敏感的釣魚台，和南沙太平島等區域，卻沒有被劃入這套系統，引發爭議。

內政部解釋，現階段規劃以民生的整合雲端系統為主。
The Ministry of the Interior has announced it will launch a new app that integrates GPS, housing price and land planning data. The system will be a handy mapping application that also serves as a tool for assessing property value.
On the highway overpass, this GPS system instructs the driver to make a right turn. Faulty navigation errors such as these could lead to an accident.
To avoid these problems, the Ministry of the Interior plans to launch an integrated map system next year. It will use cloud computing and be available for free to the public in the form of an app.

A lot of people use GPS when driving a car and they may find themselves going to strange, unintended places because of unclear map data. We hope this won’t happen anymore.
The ministry hopes to integrate different map data through cloud technology. Initially, it will focus on disaster relief and prevention, as well as real estate sales and land planning.
The technology will help homeowners learn the value of their property. Plus it will make it easier to report problems such as a landslide.
But the program is not without controversy. Sensitive areas involved in sovereignty disputes, such as the Tiaoyutai Islands and Taiping Island, are not included in the mapping area.

We should employ consistent logic when (defending our sovereignty). If the Republic of China considers it part of its sovereign territory, it should be included as part of our information.
The ministry responded by saying it wants to focus on providing a system that is handy for everyday users.
