中華經濟研究院今天公佈，台灣今年最新經濟成長率，從4月份預估的3.63%下修到2.28%，比行政院主計總處預估的2.4%還悲觀，最主要就是出口沒起色，國內民眾消費變保守。

台大經濟系教授林向愷預測，台灣經濟景氣還在低檔，尤其在出口不振，內需又不強的雙重夾擊下，全年GDP要保2，真的有得拚。

CIER Slashes GDP Forecast (2013/07/24)

The Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research has dropped its forecast for Taiwan’s annual growth to just 2.28 percent. It is a steep fall from the group’s April forecast of 3.63 percent, and is even lower than the figures put forward by the government’s statistics bureau.

Kenneth Lin, an economics professor at National Taiwan University, says Taiwan’s economy is still struggling. He cites poor exports and domestic demands as leading factors. Lin believes that Taiwan has its work cut out to keep growth above 2 percent.
