基隆黃小鴨
今年到香港展出，吸引了大批的觀光人潮的「黃色小鴨」，即將在台亮相了。黃基隆市議會議長黃景泰宣布，最快年底黃色小鴨，就會出現在基隆的海洋廣場。
穿著和黃色的襯衫，基隆市議長黃景泰召開記者會，要告訴大家這個好消息。

“在12月下旬到明年一月底期間，黃色小鴨都是在我們美麗的基隆港，海洋廣場前面，霍夫曼先生正式將備忘錄簽署完畢”
全台許多縣市卯足全力爭取的小鴨，不但決定落腳基隆市，霍夫曼還將專程為基隆市，打造高18公尺的專屬小鴨，比日前在香港展出的小鴨多出3公尺。

“這隻鴨子完全屬於我們，基隆市民所有，我們到時候會捐給基隆市民”
小鴨有多紅？光是在香港待上一個月，就吸引了上百萬人次與數十億元的收入，更創造了不少周邊商品，不只有小鴨玩偶，還有小鴨餐點。
Famed ‘Rubber Duck’ to float into Keelung in December (2013/07/24)
Later this year the much-hyped “Rubber Duck” that has graced harbors from Hong Kong to Sydney will arrive in Keelung. The beloved duck will remain a month in the northern Taiwan city, where it is expected to attract throngs of tourists and widespread media attention.

Our beautiful Port of Keelung will be home to the yellow duck from the end of December to the end of January, says Huang. It will be located in front of the Maritime Plaza. Mr. Hofman has formally signed the memorandum.
Several localities in Taiwan tried to win rights to the “Rubber Duck.” In the end, artist Florentijn Hofman awarded it to Keelung. He will create a special duck for the city that will be 18-meters tall, 3 meters taller than the duck recently displayed in Hong Kong.

This is our duck, says Huang. It is the Keelung people’s. When it arrives we will donate it to the residents of Keelung.
During its one month in Hong Kong, the duck attracted more than a million tourist-visits and high revenues. Local businesses benefited by selling not only duck toys but also duck-themed foods.
