台南拼香港
台南市長賴清德，今天在台南市政府，舉辦了返國記者會，談到此次赴香港推銷台南，他感到很滿意。而此行中為了充份凸顯台南的產業特色，他到台南人開的店吃香腸，在台南人開的書店舉行記者會，親自解說台南的幸福時光。
台南市長賴清德到香港行銷台南，行程中一定要來這家台南人開的店，嚐嚐台南好滋味。
同樣也是台南人開的店，全台聞名的書店進軍香港，所有跟台南有關的書籍，這都看得到。台南市長賴清德，還親自上陣告訴香港人，台南人的幸福時光，跟香港大不同。

“未來台南的傳統美食、傳統小吃，有機會應該要企業化，應該是要擴展到其他城市，甚至是香港，但是就目前而言，他們大概都是代代相傳”
香港民眾也表示，希望能有機會去台南走走。

“聽到大家說台南怎麼樣的很有味道，我很想自己親眼去見證一下，今天聽了市長講，就了解到很多以前不知道的東西，所以就更想去了”
這也是賴清德上任以來，首次訪港。
Mayor returns to Tainan after promotional Hong Kong trip (2013/07/22)
Tainan Mayor William Lai is back in Taiwan after a promotional trip to Hong Kong. During his trip Lai visited several Tainan-owned businesses and urged Hong Kong residents to visit the southern Taiwan city.
When Mayor William Lai traveled to Hong Kong to promote his city, he made this Tainan-owned restaurant a priority.
Another Tainan-owned business that Lai visited was a bookstore that opened in Hong Kong after having built a strong reputation back home. Even at the Hong Kong branch, books about Tainan are available. During his visit, Lai explained a major difference between the successes his city and Hong Kong have experienced.

In the future Tainan’s food and traditional snacks will have an opportunity to become corporations. Then they can expand to other cities, such as Hong Kong. At present, however, most are family-owned businesses passed down through the generations.
A Hong Kong resident spoke positively of Lai’s visit.

Hearing everyone explain what Tainan is like has sparked my interest. I want to see it with my own eyes. The mayor’s speech today taught me a great deal and made me even more interested in going.
This was Lai’s first visit to Hong Kong since becoming mayor.
