台北市U-bike標榜借車前30分鐘免費，成為許多人的代步工具，但有許多人卻鑽漏洞，趕在30分鐘內還車再續借，就能一直免費使用。現在市府打算修改方案，未來還車後，可能要等待20分鐘，才能再借一次，新方案預計最快年底前就會上路。

同時針對歡迎的站點，尖峰時間一車難求，現場沒有規劃排隊區，民眾反應排隊秩序混亂的問題，北市府也有對策。

不只有沒車的問題，民眾也反應還車常碰到車柱停滿車，沒有辦法還，市府表示將會加強派廠商定期巡視，調度車輛。
Taipei looks to end exploitation of YouBike pricing scheme (2013/08/19)
The Taipei government plans to end a pricing loophole on its popular bicycle sharing system. It will restrict YouBike users from renting bicycles in succession, to prevent people from using bikes free of charge for an extended period of time.
All it takes to rent a YouBike is an EasyCard, and what’s more, the first half hour is free. Some users are exploiting this special discount by returning their bike before the 30 minutes are up, then immediately renting another. They can ride continuously, free of charge. The Taipei government is fed up.

Before the end of the year we are planning a new rule. If you return a bike before your 30 minutes expire and want to rent again, you may have to wait 10 or 20 minutes.
YouBike users also have a complaint. At several stations it is difficult to get a bike during peak periods. Many are left waiting, but without an area to line up, it can become disorderly. The city has a plan.

We’ll probably make a marking on the ground telling people where the line begins. Initially we plan to do this at several stations where the usage rate is relatively high.
Another problem is full stations that leave users with nowhere to return their bikes. The city government plans to strengthen inspections of stations to improve bicycle distribution.
