亞職大賽開打在即，參賽國家在今天陸續抵台，其中最受矚目的莫過於日職總冠軍樂天金鷹中，因為陣中寫下跨季30勝神話的先發投手田中將大，也隨隊來台。
在中職首席顧問郭源治的接待下，樂天監督星野仙一率先走出入境大廳，不過最讓大伙失控是，田中將大。
最後一刻才決定來台的田中將大，一來就體驗到媒體和球迷的瘋狂追逐，感覺有點嚇到之下，還是保持笑容面對大家，走著走著，還走過了頭。

“雖然我本身不是樂天的球迷，不過能夠親眼目睹，這位今年像神一樣的人物來台，當然是會有種說不出的興奮感”
相較於日本球員，在台灣比較沒那麼高人氣的韓國跟澳洲隊，就可以氣定神閒的跟記者說說話。

晚間，最後一支球隊義大利波隆那隊也抵台，明天開始，四支球隊就會各自開始練球，為禮拜五開始的亞洲職棒大賽做準備。
The baseball teams that will compete in the Asia Series are in Taiwan. Today international teams from Japan, South Korea, Australia and Italy all arrived, with the warmest welcome reserved for Japan’s Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles and their star pitcher, Masahiro Tanaka.
A pair of baseball old-timers, Taiwan pro league consultant Kuo Yuan-chih and Golden Eagles manager Senichi Hoshino, walked through the airport. But the greatest attention was on Masahiro Tanaka, the Japanese ace.
Tanaka decided at the last minute to come to Taiwan. He kept a smile, despite his surprise at the aggressiveness of local reporters and the passion of Taiwanese fans.

I’m not a (Golden Eagles) fan, but to see this person live in Taiwan, who this year was like a god, definitely elicits an excitement that I cannot put into words.
Also arriving today were teams from South Korea and Australia, though they didn’t receive the same type of response as their Japanese counterparts.

We’re real excited to be here. You know we got a couple days here before our first game. We’re going to get out, get used to the time zone, and work to get ready to a different style of baseball played here in Taiwan and in the series.
The Italian club Fortitudo Baseball Bologna arrived in the evening. Each team will begin practicing tomorrow to get ready for the start of the tournament on Friday.
