美國有線電視新聞網CNN列舉了台灣十件比其他地方做得更好的事，包括了夜市、健保和狂愛Hello Kitty等等，充滿特色的文化和台灣之美，再度成為國際焦點、躍上了世界舞台。

全台灣約有300個夜市，根據觀光局的統計，有七成訪台的觀光客一定都會到夜市裡，感受一下熱鬧的氣氛和美味的小吃。

在主題餐廳方面更是琳琅滿目，像是航空主題餐廳、Hello Kitty主題餐廳等，更有全球第一家的芭比娃娃餐廳。

世界上收藏最多中國文物的地方在台灣故宮，館藏超過65萬件以上，傲視全球。

台灣之光可不只這些，小籠包更是觀光客來台不可錯過的美食之一，連好萊塢巨星阿湯哥，都指名要學做小籠包，魅力可見一斑。

Taiwan is the focus of a CNN article called “10 things Taiwan does better than anyone else.” The list features cultural and tourism delights that make residents of this island proud. 

Taiwan cherishes its culture, and for good reason. In an article published this week, CNN recognizes the island’s greatest achievements. 

Topping CNN’s list was night markets. There are 300 night markets in Taiwan. According to the Tourism Bureau, 70 percent of foreign tourists visit at least one. They go for the lively atmosphere and food.

Next are themed restaurants. CNN mentions an Airbus-themed cafe, a Hello Kitty cafe and the world’s first Barbie-themed restaurant.

Also included are Chinese artifacts, in particular the National Palace Museum, which houses the largest collection of Chinese artifacts in the world. Its permanent collection numbers more than 650,000 items.

The list closes with “little dumplings,” better known here as xiaolongbao. It even mentions how Tom Cruise learned how to make these treats in a cooking class when he visited the island.
