流感四千死
疾管署最新統計，去年10月到今年1月初，有超過4000人死於肺炎和流感。不過疾管署強調，肺炎原因很多種，民眾無需因此認定是流感疫情大爆發。

航空台徵人
看好今年旅遊景氣，再加上兩家廉價航空新加入市場，今年有六家國內外航空，都將大舉徵才，總人數上看400人。其中，長榮職缺最多，全日空薪水最好，有七萬元。

銀髮族仲介
有人力仲介公司看準了銀髮族的人力資源市場，推出第一家銀髮族白領仲介服務，針對五十到七十歲的銀髮族，曾經擔任主管的上班族，目前已經有超過150位的銀髮族白領階級，重新回到職場。

Cold Casualties
The Centers for Disease Control revealed that between October and the beginning of January, more than 4,000 people died from pneumonia or the flu. It added that there are many causes of pneumonia, so this number shouldn’t be considered a sign of a major flu outbreak. 

Airlines Recruiting
Optimism about this year’s tourism industry coupled with two new low-cost carriers entering the market has led to more vacancies in the airline industry. A total of six domestic and international airlines plan to recruit 400 new staff. EVA Air will have the most job openings, while ANA will offer the best monthly salary at NT$70,000.

Senior Staffing
A human resource company is targeting elderly people to supplement the local labor force. It is specializing in 50 to 70 year olds who once worked as white collared managers. At the moment, it has already placed 150 such people into new jobs.
