南故宮上樑

嘉義故宮南院，今天舉行上樑典禮，故宮院長馮明珠說，絕對有信心於明年年底開館試營運。

故宮南院園區占地70公頃，除發揮博物館應有典藏功能，馮明珠還希望能帶動南台灣文化教育與藝文生活，更要聯結文創產業，協力提升台灣文創產業發展。Beam-raising for Museum Branch (2014/06/05)

A beam-raising ceremony was held today for the long-awaited National Palace Museum Southern Branch. National Palace Museum Director Feng Ming-chu says she’s confident that a test run will take place by the end of next year.

The new museum’s site covers 70 hectares. Feng hopes its establishment can help promote culture and the arts in Southern Taiwan and spur the development of country’s budding cultural and creative industries.
