嘉農棒球片
名導演魏德勝監製的棒球電影"嘉農"，今天舉行殺青記者會，電影描寫日據時代 嘉義農林高校棒球隊，以黑馬之姿挺進日本甲子園決賽的熱血故事，拍攝時間巧逢經典賽中日大戰，其中的精神和感動，與劇情不謀而合。
1929年，一支由漢人，原住民和大和民族組成的嘉義農林高校棒球隊，一路過關斬將，奪下全島冠軍，還挺進甲子園決賽。這段奮鬥軌跡，即將登上大螢幕。
這部以"嘉農"為名棒球電影，由魏德勝監製，馬志翔導演，拍攝過程還巧逢經典賽的中日大戰。

殺青記者會上，經典賽台灣隊長彭政閔出席力挺，片中小童星喬喬，更是全場的焦點。
導演對台灣棒球熱的延燒持續力信心十足，將選在明年春節檔期上映。
Filming ends for movie about legendary Taiwanese baseball team (2013/04/29)
The crew of a new movie about a legendary Taiwanese baseball team held a press conference Monday to mark the end of filming. “Kano,” which is scheduled to open in spring of next year, tells the story of a 1930s baseball team which excelled in a Japanese tournament.
In 1929 a Chiayi high school baseball team comprising Han, aboriginal and Yamato members excelled in an island wide tournament. It then reached the finals of Japan’s prestigious Koshien Tournament. The story of this team is the subject of a new film.
Named after the baseball team, “Kano” was produced by Wei Te-sheng and directed by Ma Chih-hsiang. Coincidentally, “Kano” was made during the recent World Baseball Classic, when Taiwan and Japan met in a classic game.

As I was walking back to my dormitory I heard cheers coming from each door. So I started to walk quickly, then I began to run. I ran back to my dorm and turned on the TV to watch the game.

The spirit of that tournament was much like what is felt in our film. Everyone’s enthusiasm for baseball seems to have returned.
Joining Monday’s press conference was Peng Cheng-min, who played in the World Baseball Classic. He was overshadowed by the child actress Rose.
Ma is confident that Taiwan’s renewed enthusiasm for baseball is here to stay. He plans to release the film during spring training of next year.
