哺乳室裁罰
台北市衛生局今天開出第一張業者違反公共場所母乳哺育條例的罰單。去年故宮傳出有員工以不禮貌言語，驅趕媽媽哺乳，衛生局正式對這名員工，還有故宮負責人開罰，各6000元。
去年七月，曾小姐在故宮長廊上，哺育母乳，沒想到工作人員以不雅觀為由，要求她離開。經過調查，台北市衛生局決定員工和時任負責人一起罰。

“依照公共場所，母乳哺育條例裁罰六千元，同時在負責人部分，並未善盡管理及教導之責，故宮的前負責人部分，新台幣六千元罰款”
為了給媽媽更友善的環境，衛生局還稽查臺北市393家公共場所，發現有8家，哺乳室不及格。

“沒有裝設緊急急救鈴，未提供有蓋垃圾桶等基本配備，每日未做好清潔管理，這八家衛生局已經，請他們做限期改善”
衛生局強調，禁止婦女在公共場所哺育母乳，依法可以處6000到3萬元罰鍰，如果雇主沒有作好員工訓練，也能連帶受罰。
Fines issued for harassing breastfeeding mom (2013/08/19)
Taipei has issued its first fines for restricting a woman from breastfeeding. A staff member and a former director of the National Palace Museum both have to pay NT$6,000 after a woman was rudely told not to breastfeed in the museum.
In July of last year, a woman surnamed Tseng was breastfeeding her child in a public space at National Palace Museum when a staff member said she was behaving in poor taste and asked her to stop. After an investigation, the Taipei Department of Health issued fines.

(The staff member) is to be fined NT$6,000, based on the Act Governing Breastfeeding in Public Spaces. The responsible manager, in this case the former director of the National Palace Museum, is also to be fined NT$6,000 for failure to fulfill management duties by providing proper guidance.
The department also inspected 393 establishments and found eight with breastfeeding rooms that failed to pass inspection.

Insufficiencies included no emergency alarm button, no covered trash cans and no daily cleaning. The Department of Health has given these eight establishments a deadline to make improvements.
The department says restricting a woman from breastfeeding in a public space could make one liable for a fine of between NT$6,000 and NT$30,000. Employers who fail to properly train their employees can also be held responsible.
