In Roppongi, a district in Tokyo,there is a café called Harry. Harry is a play on words for harinezumi,the Japanese word for hedgehog. Customers at Harry can choose a hedgehog to spend time with, or the helpful staff can suggest one. They are then told to hold their hands together in the shape of a bowl. Staff members carefully give the hedgehog to the customer, and once the hedgehog settles, they can gently stroke their back or pet their belly.
