起訴炸彈犯

今年四月，連續在高鐵列車、立委盧嘉辰服務處放置行李箱炸彈的律師胡宗賢、共犯朱亞東，檢方今天偵結起訴，認定胡宗賢企圖以攻擊製造災難，達成放空期貨，宣洩對社會不滿。檢察官以殺人未遂等五項罪名，起訴兩人。

震驚社會的高鐵列車行、立委盧嘉辰服務處被放置爆裂物案，檢方偵結，主嫌律師胡宗賢、共犯計程車司機朱亞東，被依殺人未遂、公共危險等罪名提起公訴。

胡宗賢事前收集各式毒物，手機引爆等攻擊資訊。之後並在四只行李箱裡裝了汽油、瓦斯瓶、氰化鈉及引爆器。之後還透過網路下單，放空台股期貨，如果得逞不法獲利高達一億元，幸好沒爆炸。

自稱靈感來自電影Ｖ怪客，不滿１%的人掌控99%財富，因此以每月十萬代價僱請朱亞東策劃犯案。犯案後潛逃中國，落網遣返又否認犯案，態度不佳。檢方偵結起訴，同時求處最重之刑。

Two men indicted for planting bombs on Taiwan’s bullet train (2013/06/06)

Prosecutors have indicted two men on attempted murder charges for planting bombs in one of Taiwan’s bullet trains and outside a lawmaker’s office in April. Prosecutors said the chief suspect was angered by the inequality in society, and hoped to create a disaster to make a killing on the futures market. 

The discovery of the explosive devices in April shocked Taiwan. Prosecutors have charged chief suspect Hu Tsung-hsien, a lawyer, and his accomplice, taxi driver Chu Ya-tung, with attempted murder, offenses against public safety and other crimes.

The defendant surnamed Hu tried to create a large-scale disaster and short futures for his personal gain and also achieve the goal of showing his dissatisfaction with society. 

Before planting the bombs, Hu gathered information on various toxins and cell phone detonation devices, and later filled four suitcases with gasoline, a propane bottle, sodium cyanide and a detonator. He then went online to place orders to short futures contracts, meaning he expected the market to fall. Had his plot worked he could have made NT$100 million, but the bombs did not explode.

His account originally had NT$15 million, but after taking losses, it only had over NT$2 million left. 

According to prosecutors, Hu was angered by the top 1 percent controlling much of Taiwan’s wealth and got his inspiration for the plot from the movie V for Vendetta. He hired Chu for NT$100,000 a month to draw up a plan. The two fled to China after the bombs were discovered, and they denied involvement after being arrested. Prosecutors have recommended the harshest sentence possible.
