A Kiwi dairy company has been busted for falsely claiming its products were “100 per cent pure New Zealand”, despite using butter imported from India.

Dairy firm Milkio Foods Limited was fined US$261,452 on Aug 26 after New Zealand’s Commerce Commission took it to court for making false claims about the origin of its butter products.

Police in Munich are investigating a mystery: More than 1,000 stickers were put on gravestones and wooden crosses at three cemeteries in the German city, without any indication of where they came from or why.

Hotels.com revealed some of the most unusual items left behind at its partner hotels around the world, including a pet lizard, as well as some of the most bizarre room service requests.

The website’s annual Hotel Room Innsights Report, based on data from more than 400 hotels across the globe, revealed the most common items left behind by guests include phone chargers, dirty laundry, power adapters, makeup and toiletries.
