When life hands you lemons, do what a 6-year-old Denver boy did, he opened a lemonade stand.

Lots of kids have lemonade stands during summertime but Brady Campbell’s may just be the sweetest.

中英對照讀新聞》’They just want to take a selfie’: how TV show changed Chernobyl tourism「他們只想自拍」:電視劇如何改變車諾比旅遊業

The hit TV series "Chernobyl" has attracted a new generation of tourists to the nuclear disaster zone but guides say that many are more interested in taking selfies than learning about the accident.

Tourists now are often on the lookout for locations featured in the acclaimed HBO drama and can be surprised to discover that certain sites were fictional.

The abandoned site had already become a "dark tourism" destination, even before the eponymous TV show started broadcasting.

Some Ukrainian travel agencies have further adapted their tours to take in locations from the "Chernobyl" series and offer special trips, such as kayaking in rivers around the exclusion zone.

For NASA, 2019 was a big year. The space agency spent the year studying asteroids up close, prepping soon-to-be-launch missions to Mars and hashed out plans for the Artemis missions that will return astronauts to the lunar surface. 2020? Well, it’ probably going to be even bigger.

"Launching Americans from US soil, sending a new rover to Mars and continuing to prepare for human missions to the moon are just a few of the things NASA has planned for 2020," NASA says.

Of the many seriously awesome things NASA teases here, the whole "launching astronauts from US soil" thing is one of the biggest. NASA believed that the Commercial Crew program would have already produced results by this point and the fact that both Boeing and SpaceX have yet to deliver a crewed launch vehicle is a major bummer for the space agency.

中英對照讀新聞》Can global matcha craze save Japan’s tea industry?

From matcha ice cream to cake and chocolate, producers of traditional Japanese green tea are capitalizing on growing global interest in its flavor - even as demand for the drink declines at home.

At Shigehiko Suzuki’s tea shop in Fujieda, the prefecture of Shizuoka, the customers are flooding in but more to scoop up gelato or cake than to sip the bright-green tea.

Japan exported more than 5,000 tonnes of green tea - mainly to the United States - in 2018, 10 times more than two decades ago. But in Japan, the consumption of green tea leaves for drinking dropped from 1,174 grams per household in 2001 to 844 grams in 2015, according to the latest government data.

To pull in younger punters, some tea rooms are trying to modernize the traditional drink. "Something between tea ceremony and bottled tea, like a cafe where customers can enjoy tea in comfortable surroundings, didn’t really exist before," said Yuka Ihara at Tokyo Saryo.(AFP)
