Vice President, Wu Den-yih, appointed to become KMT 1st Vice Chairman
The KMT Central Standing Committee ratified the appointment of Vice President Wu Den-yih as the party’s first vice chairman. This appointment effectively places him second in command behind President Ma, but ahead of three KMT mayors.

In the latest reshuffle for the ruling KMT, Vice President Wu Den-yih will take over as the party’s first vice chairman. Wu was overjoyed as the appointment was ratified by the KMT’s weekly Central Standing Committee meeting.

On the 25th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square crackdown, DPP heavyweights gathered at a press conference to urge Beijing to admit its wrongdoings.

Taiwan Mobile followed the lead of Chunghwa Telecom and FarEasTone by announcing the rollout of 4G services today. The company is offering special enticements to lure customers such as NT$268 for 1.5 gigabytes of data usage.

Taiwan Mobile formally inaugurated its 4G LTE service today, following the lead of Chunghwa Telecom and FarEasTone.

雲端成為現今的科技潮流，宏碁董事長施振榮今天在電腦展高峰論壇上表示，其實宏碁從事雲端事業超過13年，而且現在還要與晶片大廠聯發科合作。不過，施振榮重申不會因為雲端，就放棄pc。

Acer Chairman, Stan Shih, spoke at Computex today. He noted that Acer has been involved in cloud technology for over 13 years and will recently collaborate with Taiwanese chip giant MediaTek on new projects. He also dispelled rumors that Acer will give up its PC business.
