台北市今天公布馬年小提燈， 以充滿夢想的旋轉木馬為概念設計，號稱是全國第一只可轉動的小提燈，將在下個月8、9日兩天發送。

它是好像一個劇場，除了馬是主角之外，然後還有一個圓形的蓋子，好像那種馬戲團歡樂的感覺。
製作團隊發想半年，號稱全台灣第一個會旋轉的提燈，共有5匹不同顏色的駿馬。中間的柱子上，有101大樓和摩天輪等台北地標，把手上，還有大貓熊圓仔的圖案。

這14年來有很多市民都會蒐集小提燈，用生肖來蒐集，這次是唯一突破用單一生肖為主體來做。
台北市政府也預告之後會有圓仔的小提燈。
台北提燈總共作了18萬盞，將在2月8、9日在北市各區，及台北燈節現場免費發送。
Taipei plans to give away 180,000 Year of the Horse lanterns (2014/01/13)
The Taipei City government has revealed the Year of the Horse-themed lanterns it will distribute during the upcoming Taipei Lantern Festival. In a break from the past, the giveaway lantern features just one character from the Chinese zodiac.
This rapidly spinning carousel is the lantern that will be distributed in conjunction with this year’s Taipei Lantern Festival.

It’s like a theater. The horse is the main character and there is also a round top that gives it a circus feel.
The design team spent half a year coming up the first rotating lantern ever distributed by Taipei City. It has five different colored horses with a backdrop that includes Taipei 101, a Ferris wheel and other local landmarks. The handle is decorated with a panda design.

Many people have collected these lanterns over the past 14 years. This is the first year that we relied on a single Chinese zodiac character to create the lantern.
The city government also announced it is making a special handheld lantern based upon the likeness of the panda cub Yuanzai.
A total of 180,000 free handheld lanterns will be distributed on Feb. 8 and 9 at various locations around the city as well as at the Taipei Lantern Festival.
