春節福袋，一向是百貨公司的重頭戲，不過，現在全聯福利中心，今年過年也推出百元福袋，而且大獎是百萬休旅車，預計能吸引一、兩成買氣。原來這是流通教父徐重仁，出任總裁後，首發震撼彈，要左打量販店，右打超商。
一邊結帳，一邊高喊福袋開賣囉，這是前統一超商總經理徐重仁，出任全聯總裁後，最新春節行銷手法。
不只賣福袋，徐重仁也開始打造全聯的新店面，將原本傳統的店面改裝成時尚風格，拓寬走道、降低貨架，蔬果擺在賣場中間。要左打量販店，右拼超商。

“會重新洗牌，不只統一超，連全家、萊爾富，整個消費型態可能都會受影響，可能不會像過去大家看到，三五走就一家超商，包括大潤發、家樂福，跟愛買應該也都是挫勒等”
統一超商不甘示弱，要用冰淇淋，穩定業績，至於家樂福，則是推出消費滿額，就送黃色小鴨系列商品。
New Pxmart President, Hsu Cheng-jun, to launch lucky gift bag promotion (2014/01/12)
Department stores typically offer consumers the chance to purchase lucky gift bags over the Lunar New Year Holiday. Pxmart will soon join the action, spurred on by its new president. Hsu Chung-jen hopes to position Pxmart somewhere between hypermarkets and convenience stores, raising fears among other retailers.
Here at the checkout counter an announcement is being made about the store’s sale of lucky gift bags. This is the new promotion plan devised by the company’s new leader, Hsu Chung-jen, former general manager of the President Chain Store.
Hsu’s plans for revamping Pxmart extend beyond selling lucky gift bags as he also hopes to give a facelift to storefronts, also widening the shopping aisles and lowering and putting fruits and vegetables placed in the middle of the store. He hopes to position Pxmart somewhere between hypermarkets and convenience stores.

There will be a major reshuffling which will not only affect President Chain Store, but Family Mart and Hi-Life, potentially affecting consumer patterns. In the past we might not see so many convenience stores every few feet, and (hypermarkets) like RT-Mart , Carrefour, and A. Mart are also quite nervous.
Other retailers don’t wish to be outdone by Pxmart’s promotion as President Chain Store will have an ice cream promotion and Carrefour will give special Rubber Duck themed items for consumers who purchase over a certain amount.
