Paterno passed the latest degree with top marks, again, his proud family said on Facebook.

He has no plans to rest and wants to write a novel using his trusty typewriter.

Born in 1923, Paterno grew up in a poor family in Sicily and despite his love of books and studying, he wasn’t able to go to university as a young man.

Julie Chin, a television news anchor in Oklahoma, was telling viewers about a local event when, all of a sudden, she was struggling to speak.

“I’m sorry,” she said after stumbling over her words. “Something is going on with me this morning, and I apologize to everybody.”

Fortunately her co-workers recognized that she was suffering a medical emergency and immediately called 911.

Dr. Neil Schwartz, director of the Young Stroke Program at the Stanford Stroke Center, said in an interview that Ms. Chin might have experienced a transient ischemic attack, which can mimic a stroke.

If you prefer to go to bed and get up later — a sleep chronotype known as being a night owl — you may be at higher risk for type 2 diabetes and heart disease, a new study found.

Night owls were more sedentary, had lower aerobic fitness levels and burned less fat at rest and while active than early birds in the study. Night owls were also more likely to be insulin-resistant, meaning their muscles required more insulin to be able to get the energy they need, according to the study published Monday in the journal Experimental Physiology.

"Insulin tells the muscles to be a sponge and absorb the glucose in the blood," said senior study author Steven Malin, an associate professor in the department of kinesiology and health at Rutgers University in New Jersey.

If sleep chronotype is affecting how our bodies use insulin and impacting metabolism, then being a night owl might be useful in predicting a person’s risk for heart disease and type 2 diabetes, Malin added.

The Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts, said in a statement it’s guilty of accidentally sending acceptance emails to former and current applicants.

The School blamed a "technical error" for the glitch, saying the erroneous emails went to more than 200 people who applied for admission starting next fall, as well as to nearly 4,000 former applicants, some of whom are already enrolled.

Lakisha Papoutsakis, a single mother, who received the acceptance email, said that she has dreamed of going to law school since she was a child.

She shared the good news with her loved ones before noticing the follow-up email. "I was like, ’Oh my God this is so amazing,’ and then it was like, ’Oh no, sorry, April Fool’s Day,’" she said.(AP)
