北朝紀念館
就在閱兵之後，北朝鮮方面，接著在同一天舉行祖國解放戰爭勝利紀念館的落成剪綵，因為這是國家大事，同樣場面隆重浩大，展現了社會主義制度的
國家動員力。
平壤新建的”祖國解放戰爭勝利紀念館”在六十周年慶這一天，正式落成，青年領導人金正恩元帥邀請中國國家副主席李源潮共同剪綵。
現場邀到數百位國際友人，北朝鮮各軍種代表，及當年參戰的老兵，數千人參與見證。

“因為二次大戰，而成為分裂國家的南北朝鮮，經過三年的朝鮮戰爭之後，依然是兩個國家，但是從北朝鮮這一方面呢，祖國解放戰爭，他們認為是勝利的一方 ，而這個紀念館呢，就是歷史的證明”
從北朝鮮的角度，當年的朝鮮戰爭，是美帝支持南韓先發動的，紀念館裡，記錄著當年朝鮮戰爭保衛家園的艱辛，以及一場場北朝鮮勝利的關鍵戰役，尤其記錄著當年金日成主席領導作戰、在各戰地前線指揮、視察的過程。

紀念館入口，就是一座超大型的金日成青年時期雕像，展覽室裡更陳列許多金日成在解放戰爭時代的照片和圖像，讓人容易聯想到第三代領導人金正恩的外型酷似他的祖父。領著李源潮參訪紀念館，讓國際媒體一度有機會近距離拍攝金正恩元帥本人。
當晚北朝鮮自製的煙火低空放射，也讓平壤夜景璀璨萬分，也添增慶典的光彩。
North Korea unveils memorial to its Korean War ‘victory’ (2013/07/28)
After staging a massive armistice anniversary parade, North Korea unveiled a special memorial to the conflict it calls the Fatherland Liberation War. If nothing else, the event showed the power of this socialist nation to mobilize large numbers of people.
The Pyongyang memorial was unveiled on the 60th anniversary of the armistice that ended the Korean War. Leader Kim Jong-un was joined by Chinese Vice President Lee Yuanchao in cutting the ribbon.
Thousands watched, including hundreds of foreign guests, representatives of the armed forces and soldiers who fought in the war.

World War II led to the separation of North and South Korea, a situation that persisted following the Korean War. North Korea refers to this three-year conflict as the Fatherland Liberation War. It claims victory, which it underscores with this memorial.
From the North’s perspective, the war was started by an American empire bent on supporting South Korea. The memorial highlights difficulties protecting the motherland and key battles won by the North. Prominent is former leader Kim Il-sung, and his exploits commanding from the front lines.

On the surface South Korea is a country, says this travel official. But I feel that command of its military and its economic lifeline are under US control. We refer to it as a puppet.

We won this three-year war because of our great, wise leader, and the excellent war strategy he gave us, says this foreign affairs official. We proudly beat the imperialist United States, which flaunts itself as the world’s strongest nation.
Standing watch over the entrance is a statue of a youthful Kim Il-sung. Photos and drawings of him are on display. These show a striking resemblance to the third generation leader in power now, Kim Jong-un. As the young Kim led China’s Li on a tour, foreign reporters received a rare, up-close glimpse.
At night, domestically-made fireworks lit the Pyongyang sky. The bright nightscape reflected the day’s celebratory mood.
