明年假日
行政院長江宜樺日前透露考慮增加假日，內政部經過討論，擬定出三種方案，包括農曆年假固定為九天，或是元宵節、聖誕節等民俗假期，改為國定假日，最快17號就會拍板定案。
成大就博會
南區規模最大的就業博覽會，今天在成功大學登場， 1百多家廠商，共提供1萬多個工作機會，是近年來最多的一次。其中台積電釋出5千個工作機會，聯電和群創喊出最高起薪6萬元，許多準畢業生和在校生都跑來試水溫。

台灣女網一姐謝淑薇，今天和老搭檔彭帥的海峽女雙組合，在WTA印地安泉網賽女雙冠軍戰，順利以7:6，6:2直落二的盤數，奪下后冠，這場勝利也把兩人在WTA決賽的戰績擴大到11勝0敗。
National Holidays
Premier Jiang Yi-huah is considering increasing the number of holidays next year. After a discussion with the Ministry of the Interior, three different proposals have been put forward, including scheduling the Lunar New Year holiday to run for 9 days, or adding days off if a holidays occurs on weekend, or designating Lantern Festival or Christmas as national holidays. A final decision could be achieved by Monday at the earliest.
Job Fair
Southern Taiwan’s largest job fair debuted today at the National Cheng Kung University. More than 100 exhibitors offered 10,000 employment opportunities, the most in recent years. TSMC is offering 5,000 jobs with UMC and Innolux offering the highest starting monthly salary at NT$60,000. Many prospective graduates and students attended the event with the hope of testing the employment market.
Doubles Tennis Victory
Taiwanese tennis player Hsieh Su-wei and her Chinese partner Peng Shuai took the women's doubles title at the 2014 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California, on Saturday. The pair won in straight sets 7-6 and 6-2 and upped their record in WTA finals matches to an impressive 11 wins and 0 losses.
