David Lobell is the deputy director of the Center on Food Security and the Environment at Stanford University. He believes climate change may affect humanity's ability to produce food. He has even predicted that some common foods could disappear completely. Also a professor, Lobell has explained how agriculture is sensitive to changes in climate. This is because more droughts or unexpected floods can wipe out or damage entire crops.
