Vodka is set for a likely sales boost after receiving the endorsement of hard-drinking high priest of cool James Bond, according to a study published Tuesday.

The iconic character has increasingly been knocking back the hard stuff, with latest incarnation Daniel Craig judged by far the booziest Bond.

He has drunk an average of 20 units of alcohol per film since his debut in 2006’s Casino Royale, according to a study by British food and drink trade magazine The Grocer.

About a third of cancer cases in the UK could be prevented if people ate healthily, exercised more and cut down on alcohol, figures indicate.

Data from the World Cancer Research Fund suggests that 20,000 cases of breast cancer and about 19,000 cases of bowel cancer could be stopped each year with small changes in lifestyle. In 2013, there were more than 351,000 new cases of cancer in the UK. The WCRF said 84,000 could have been prevented.

Head of research Dr Rachel Thompson said simple changes to diet and lifestyle could make "a huge difference" in the battle against cancer.

"Even minor adjustments, like 10 to 15 extra minutes of physical activity each day, cutting down on alcohol, or limiting your intake of high calorie foods and sugary drinks, will help decrease your cancer risk," she said.

Even 15 minutes a day of brisk walking, cycling or swimming could help older adults live longer, according to a review of past research that found any physical activity is better than none.

For people over age 60, meeting current U.S. guidelines for moderate-to-vigorous exercise was linked to a 28 percent lower risk of dying over about 10 years, compared to being completely sedentary. But even lower levels of exercise were tied to a 22 percent reduction in mortality risk.

"When our older patients cannot do 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity a week because of chronic diseases, we(the 2008 guidelines)recommend them to be as physically active as their abilities and conditions allow," said lead author Dr. David Hupin of the department of clinical and exercise physiology, University Hospital of Saint-Etienne, France.

Hupin’s team looked at whether less exercise could still be beneficial. They analyzed data from past studies covering a total of 122,417 men and women between the ages of 60 and 101 in the U.S., Taiwan and Australia.

The researchers recommend 15 minutes per day of exercise based on these results, but Hupin said adults who couldn’t even meet that goal would benefit by merely moving around more on a consistent basis. "Age is not an excuse to do no exercise," he said.

Modern PIs are less concerned about criminals and more interested in cheating spouses and corrupt investors. As a result, PIs are typically asked to follow people of interest for a brief period of time until they have collected enough evidence. Most PIs will employ a variety of methods, such as using hidden microphones and cameras, researching legal documents, and even going undercover. There have even been a few examples of foreign governments hiring PIs to chase after terrorists.
