呼應學生，民進黨黨主席蘇貞昌召開國際記者會，也提出三大訴求。

找來國際媒體發聲，民進黨主席蘇貞昌宣示明天將是民主決戰的重要時刻。同時也向馬總統提出三大訴求。

“第一，馬總統要立刻向人民道歉，保證絕不再犯，第二服貿協議要立即送回委員會進行審查，第三不得動用警察，對付學生，否則的話，民進黨明天就是全民總動員，包圍立法院”

蘇貞昌強調，民進黨「從未主張反服貿」，卻被馬政府混淆視聽。當初朝野協議明明是逐條審查，卻被故意忽略、想打包表決。

First, President Ma must immediately apologize to the people and guarantee that he will not make this same mistake again, says Su. Second, the trade-in-services pact must immediately be sent back to committee for review. Third, police force cannot be used against the students. Otherwise, tomorrow the DPP will mobilize all people in surrounding the Legislature.

Su emphasized that the DPP has never been against the trade-in-services pact in principal. He blames the Ma administration for spreading this perception. Su also protested the KMT’s reneging of an agreement that lawmakers could conduct a line-by-line review of the pact.
