豬肉價格不斷飆漲,農委會日前開始要求農會超市將部份豬肉打八折,也從今天起,規定冷凍肉類業者減購6.6%的豬肉數量。農委會希望藉此防止囤貨,也讓傳統市場業者能批到足夠的肉量,避免發生搶購和抬價的狀況。
里肌肉、五花肉都是民眾最常買的豬肉,最近豬價一直漲,一度漲破每公斤83元,農委會趕緊下令所有農會超市,到4月1日為止,將這兩款肉打8折。
農委會接著宣佈即日起,冷凍肉類業者必須減購豬肉。

買的比較多的其實是12家,因為我們限購的比例是6.6%,對業者正常的超市通路,或者是冷藏通路和量販通路足以供應。
農委會要求業者一天少買6.6%的量,這樣平日一天可以釋出500到600頭豬,讓傳統市場攤販來購買。

傳統的肉商就會比較沒有急迫性的怕今天買不到豬、明天沒有生意做,所以他搶購的熱度就會減少,價格就比較容易平穩。
農委會還考慮將限購日期延後到清明節後一個禮拜,讓拜拜的民眾不用擔心慎終追遠時買不到豬肉。
The Council of Agriculture is taking several steps to cool rising pork prices. After forcing local supermarkets operated by regional farmers’ association to offer discounts on two types of pork, it is now limiting purchases by major frozen meat sellers to prevent hoarding and speculation.
Pork loin and pork belly are popular meat items among consumers. Recently, prices rose dramatically, breaking NT$83 per kilogram. The Council of Agriculture is asking local supermarkets operated by regional farmers’ association to offer 20 percent discounts on these two types of pork beginning April 1.
The council is also forcing sellers of frozen meat to immediately reduce their purchases.

There are a dozen (frozen meat) companies that buy large amounts of meat. We are reducing their purchases by 6.6 percent. We believe this will leave the companies with sufficient product to supply their normal supermarket channels, frozen channels and volume sellers.
Lower procurement by frozen meat companies is expected to release between 500 and 600 pigs daily to traditional markets for sale.

Traditional meat sellers won’t be so anxious about acquiring pork to keep their business going. Cooling their bidding practices will help stabilize prices.
The council is considering extending the restrictions on purchases until the week following Tomb Sweeping Holiday to alleviate consumer worries about procuring pork during this holiday.
