學生們的行動，也引來民間的支持，不管是吃的、還是喝的，外界資源不斷湧入，光是物資就堆成了好幾座小山。
清晨五點半一陣大雨，吵醒夜宿立院外頭的大批學生，但卻澆不熄大家的熱情。
天漸漸亮了，現場也發放熱騰騰的早餐。

“這裡會提供很多東西給我們吃，就是有很多熱心的人，都會捐贈一些消夜、包子什麼的”
學生攻佔立法院，引起各界響應，物資源源不絕送進來，有人訂了一整車的貨品來聲援學生。
學生們排成人龍接力運送物資，從衛生紙、礦泉水，麵包、餅乾、泡麵堆成好幾座小山。
擔心場內學生肚子餓，便當還特定用懸吊方式送進去，而場外也同樣發起便當。

社會各界有錢出錢、有力出力，聲援民眾的全力相挺，也成了學生抗爭行動，最堅強的後盾。
The protesting students are enjoying support from many sectors. Members of the general public are donating food, beverages and other supplies to sustain the students during their occupation of the Legislature.
A downpour at 5:30 this morning woke up a large group of students who slept outside the Legislature. But the poor weather didn’t dampen their spirits.
As the sun rose in the morning, breakfasts were delivered and distributed.
Protester
There are plenty of foods for us to eat, says this protester. A lot of generous supporters donated snacks and treats.
As students occupy the Legislature, the general public is showing its support through donations. One person sent over a truckload of supplies.
Students formed a long line to relay the incoming goods, including tissue paper, bottled water, bread, biscuits and instant noodles.
Supporters had lunchboxes delivered by rope. Meals were also given away outside the venue.

While some donate supplies others contribute labor. Concern for the students shows that anxiety over the impact of the trade-in-services pact is widespread.
