新北市長朱立倫到底要競選連任，還是要直攻2016，風聲不斷，今天又有雜誌預告，朱立倫不會競選連任，甚至還傳出如果朱立倫不選，親民黨主席宋楚瑜將會出馬角逐，但朱立倫繼續賣關子，而宋楚瑜則是透過親民黨立委李桐豪斬釘截鐵說，沒有參選計畫。

Speculation continues over the future political fate of New Taipei Mayor Eric Chu. A magazine reported that he would not seek re-election to potentially prepare for a presidential run in 2016. Some even believe his absence in municipal elections could open the door for PFP Chairman James Soong to run in his place.
