針對eTag電子收費上路後，亂象頻傳，包括違約罰金不繳、收費員沒妥善安置等。、高公局今天下午開記者會一一做出說明。

eTag電子收費全面上路，帶來的卻是全面麻煩。身為主管機關，高公局決定一次說清楚！

首先針對遠通當初承諾安置收費員轉置，成功率卻不到1成的部分，高公局要遠通對收費員負責到底，否則日罰50萬！

“針對要找工作(收費員) ，大概有400多位左右，由於過去這段時間，在媒合上面進展速度相對慢，我們已經要求遠通公司，限期在半年內要完成所有轉置”

而eTag儲值異常、重複扣款狀況頻頻，遠東集團董事長徐旭東還放話「喜歡退就退」，徹底引爆退租潮。高公局表示，會督促遠通全線清查。

“他把整個感應器的角度，稍微做了一個遮蔽，也把一些功率調整，角度調整，之後並沒有發現相同案例，我們調配一批人力 ，明天開始需要一個禮拜時間，做相關資料的核對跟抽查”

至於遠通遲遲不繳4億多的罰款部分，由於這些罰款仍在行政訴訟中，高公局表示，一切先等法院結果，再決定要罰多少。

The National Freeway Bureau held a press conference today to address concerns about the embattled eTag system. It says adjustments have already been made to sensors to avoid double charges and phantom charges. The bureau also said it has given eTag operator Far Eastern Toll Collection six months to help all displaced toll collectors find new work. 

Numerous problems have afflicted eTag since Taiwan launched fully electronic toll collection. Today the National Freeway Bureau addressed concerns.

For the first time, the bureau commented on a failure to find jobs for displaced toll collectors. Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection, which operates eTag, had promised assistance, but less than 10 percent of toll collectors have found new jobs. The bureau reminded Far Eastern to accept responsibility or face a potential daily fine of NT$500,000.

There are approximately 400 former (toll) collectors who still haven’t found work. The transition is going rather slow. We have already asked Far Eastern to complete this process within six months.

Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection is a unit of the Far Eastern Group. Its chairman, Douglas Hsu, infuriated many when he said customers who are upset over double charges should just return their eTags. Many followed up on this suggestion. The freeway bureau reacted by telling Far Eastern that it should improve so customers have no reason to want to give up eTag. Some progress has been made.

They have adjusted the angle of sensors and added a cover. They also changed the frequency on some sensors, and thus far have not encountered the same errors. We have contributed staff who will spend the next week reviewing data.

In the past, Far Eastern was fined around NT$400 million for failing to meet usage thresholds, but it hasn’t paid a dime. The freeway bureau says these fines have been appealed and no money is due until a final decision is reached.

立法院修正「通訊保障監察法」，增加了一人一票、監聽僅限三年以上刑責的重案，這些偵辦限制，引起國內執法人員反彈，檢警調高層今天一同出面，批評新法對他們打擊犯罪綁手綁腳，絕非百姓之福。

跟舊法相比，監聽條件變嚴了，只有檢方立案的被告，才能夠掛線監聽，原本監聽票允許一人多案或多案一人，修法後改為一人一票，多人犯罪必須聲請多張，監聽內容禁止另作他用或政治偵防。

偶然取得的監聽內容，以及它所衍生的證據，也應該認為有證據能力。

刑事局也認為，受限於新通保法聲請程序，恐怕刑責不到三年的小案子也會變得難破。

常與民眾切身相關的輕微犯罪，例如電話恐嚇、公然侮辱、網路色情等問題，違法脫序的行為無法防治。

執法人員從基層到高層一致反應，監聽非萬能，但辦案不靠適度監聽，萬萬不能，已向法務部呈報困難之處，希望有提出覆議的空間。

Law enforcement agencies fear that new surveillance restrictions will pose a major threat to future investigations. Today they expressed their concerns while urging lawmakers to reconsider the amendment that would introduce the restrictions. 

Passage of the amendment to the Communications Protection and Surveillance Act led to swift criticism from the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office and the Investigation Bureau.

The excessive restrictions on applying for surveillance warrants will affect future investigations. National security will be jeopardized.

The amendment would place new limits on the use of surveillance. Prosecutors would only be able to wiretap a suspect’s phone after registering a case against him. A single warrant would only be valid for gathering evidence against one person. Evidence gathered must be related to the purpose outlined in the warrant application. And there is a specific restriction against using evidence for political purposes.

The Criminal Investigation Bureau said additional restrictions on cases that carry a maximum sentence of under three years will be a major obstacle.

Minor infractions that have a strong impact on people – such as phone threats, slander, or online porn – will be impossible to prevent.

Law enforcement officials believe the surveillance restrictions weaken a vital investigation tool. They have expressed their worries to the Ministry of Justice and hope that the amendment can be revisited.

主計處今年GDP預測為2.59%，不過，里昂證券看好歐美經濟復甦，最新報告指出，今年GDP可以達到"5.7%"，讓企業大老和學者直接吐槽說，很難達到。

台經院景氣預測中心主任孫明德，聽到里昂證券，最新台灣GDP預測報告，居然高達5.7%，驚訝到腳還拐了一下。

里昂證券指出，歐美經濟復甦，加上韓元升值，有助於提升台灣電子業競爭力，讓GDP大幅反彈，相較於主計處預測今年GDP為2.59%，外資對今年景氣普遍樂觀。

“出口這一塊，我們是很肯定相當不錯，內需就要大家一起來加油，如果說連內需，也能在今年第二季，或下半年整個，很熱絡帶動下，3有機會可以達到”

台灣去年出口金額為歷年次高，今年因為歐洲轉單的手術防護衣、自行車和電動車零組件，讓外資機構認為企業獲利有機會創新高。

A mix of astonishment and disbelief is the general reaction to the latest prediction for Taiwan’s growth. According to the foreign brokerage CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets, GDP could increase by 5.7 percent this year. That’s more than double the forecast by the government’s official statistics agency. 

The director of the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research finds it hard to believe that Taiwan will be able to meet CLSA’s prediction.

For Taiwan to go from 1 percent to more than 5 percent, growth will have to double then double again and double again. This will be very difficult.

When arguing for the strength of Taiwan’s electronics industry, CLSA cited the recovery in the United States and Europe and a stronger Korean won. It is not the only foreign brokerage to express greater optimism than the 2.59 percent forecast by Taiwan’s official statistics bureau.

We think exports will do well. Everyone needs to work together to improve domestic demand. If domestic demand is strong in the second quarter or the second half of the year, 3 percent growth would be possible.

Taiwan had its second-best exports showing ever in 2013. This year, Europe has already expressed strong interest in locally produced surgical clothing, bicycles and electric vehicle components. This is just one sign contributing to the bullish attitude among foreign analysts.

國內流感、諾羅疫情，雙雙拉警報，疾管署發現，上周流感就醫數，已經突破10萬人次，比去年同期增加快五成，目前新北市已經有兩起死亡。春節出國，日、韓目前諾羅病毒發燒，東南亞也出現腸病毒、麻疹、狂犬病，中國也有H7N9疫情，都要小心！

診所才一開門，就有不少人，等著看病，而且大夥兒症狀很一致，不是發燒，就是拉肚子。

“如果是流感就是，發燒、發冷、頭痛、全身痠痛。那噁心、肚子痛， 然後就拉肚子，這就是諾羅病毒，這兩個大概占我們病例裡面大概三分之二啦”

疾管署統計，上週流感病例，達到10萬多人次，比去年同期大增4成8創下去年七月以來，單周新高。醫生更警告，過年期間，將會疫情高峰期。

“這段時間，是人口比較聚集，大家容易聚餐，容易在一起，如果中間有一個成員發病，就會傳染給其他人，甚至有些諾羅病毒可以藉著食物來傳染”

就連民眾春節出國，也要小心，不只東北亞地區，日本和韓國有諾羅病毒，東南亞有登革熱和腸病毒，中國大陸有H7N9。

The Centers for Disease Control reported more than 100,000 flu cases last week, including at least two fatalities. Doctors warn that people should be especially cautious of the flu and other diseases when traveling or gathering during the Lunar New Year.

If it’s the flu, the patient suffers from fever, chills, headache or body ache. If it’s norovirus, the patient suffers from nausea, stomach pain or diarrhea. These two illnesses account for roughly two-thirds of our patients.

The Centers for Disease Control reported 100,000 flu cases last week, an increase of nearly 50 percent compared to the same period last year. It was the single largest weekly flu outbreak since July. Doctors predict that Lunar New Year will be the peak of the epidemic.

During this period, the population draws closer together and shares meals. If one person in the group is ill, the disease can be passed to others. Norovirus can be transmitted through food.

Those traveling abroad should be wary of norovirus outbreaks in Japan and Korea, enterovirus and dengue fever outbreaks in Southeast Asia, and the H7N9 bird flu outbreak in China.

前立委蔡同榮逝世第四天，他一手創辦的台灣第一家本土電視台"民視"，總經理陳剛信，率領高階主管，前往上香致意，還透露未來將收集蔡同榮生前遺物，計畫在民視林口總部成立紀念館。

During his life, Chai was committed to the Taiwan independence movement and the right to hold referendums. He founded FTV, the nation’s first private television station. Today, FTV’s general manager revealed plans to establish a special memorial dedicated to Chai at the station’s new Linkou headquarters.

雪橇滑雪，一般都被認為是溫寒帶國家的強項，不過，宜蘭的南澳高中學生，克難練習，在缺乏場地、經費和經驗的情況下，在去年12月拿下亞洲盃雪橇比賽青少年的亞軍。學生接受訪問時說，雖然冷到流鼻血，但是還是會繼續努力，希望能爭取到2016冬季青年奧運的門票。

滑雪或雪橇，一般都被認為是溫寒帶國家的強項，不過現在，雪橇比賽，我們也有台灣之光。南澳高中的江俊弘，去年12月參加亞洲盃雪橇比賽，青少年組，打敗台日韓印16名選手，得到亞軍。

在柏油路上來回練習，地雖不平，有點顛簸，雖然設備、經費和環境都不如人。但他們不怕苦，從去年10月開始克難苦練，其中還到德國雪地練了兩個禮拜。

Students from a high school in Yilan hope to realize a dream that few would find possible in Taiwan – competing in the luge at the next Winter Youth Olympics. They train on basketball courts and asphalt roads and have already seen some international success. 

Many people believe that sports like skiing and luge are best left to residents of countries that see frequent snowfall. A Nan Oau Senior High School student by the name of Chiang Jun-hung is proving that misconception wrong. At last month’s Asian Luge Championships he finished second in the youth category, beating 16 other competitors from snow-heavy countries like Japan and South Korea.

I had nosebleeds because of the cold, but reaching the end led to a great feeling of success. My hope is to qualify for the 2016 Winter (Youth) Olympics.

Chiang and his classmates train on asphalt and basketball courts. The ground may not be flat and the sled shakes. The equipment and environment pale in comparison to other nations. Nevertheless, these athletes don’t shy away from hard work. They have trained hard since last October and spent two weeks practicing in Germany.

Higher taxi fares will be in effect over the Lunar New Year holiday until Feb. 4. Taipei, New Taipei and Keelung with see fares rising the earliest, beginning on Jan. 25. Taoyuan will see the biggest increase: a 30 percent surcharge over metered fares. And three leading taxi companies – Taiwan Taxi, M-Taxi, and A-Taxi – have also decided to raise fares for radio dispatched taxis.

Three leading hypermarkets have begun Lunar New Year promotions. Starting today, Carrefour will remain open for three consecutive days and offer consumers NT$200 if they spend over NT$2,000. A.Mart is matching Carrefour’s cash back program and extending its late-night hours. RT Mart going one better by offering NT$100 for every purchase over NT$1,000.

Hot Air Balloons
Hot air balloons were a sensation when they appeared in Tainan over last year's Lunar New Year holiday. This year, they will be available again at Tsou-Ma-Lai Farm. Tainan City Farmers' Association has also arranged a special fire dance show to entertain tourists.

行政院經濟建設委員會將在二十二號走入歷史!未來經建會將改制成國家發展委員會，而總統府6號也發布命令，表示經建會主委管中閔將出任國發會主委，管中閔今天出面和大家說明，未來國發會的功能!

前一天晚上，經建會舉辦最後一次年終感恩餐會，管中閔百感交集，謝謝全體同仁。管中閔難得感性，因為經建會將在22號走入歷史。對於要接掌國家發展委員會主委，管中閔心情不輕鬆。

CEPD minister discusses new National Development Council (2014/01/08)

In two weeks time, the Council for Economic Planning and Development and several other agencies will merge to form the new National Development Council. Heading the new council will be CEPD Minister Kuan Chung-ming, who today expressed anxiety over the increase in responsibilities. 

When the CEPD held its last year-end banquet, Minister Kuan Chung-ming showed great emotion and gratitude. On Jan. 22 the CEPD will be replaced by the National Development Council, with Kuan at the helm.

春訓日宣佈

軍功路正名

新種白草莓
最近日本很夯的白草莓，現在台灣也研發出來了，苗栗縣大湖鄉有莓農自己調整栽種技術，種出了類似日本的白草莓，口感鬆軟像是水蜜桃，香氣也比大湖鄉本土的草莓濃郁。

Road Name Change
More than 80 percent of residents on Taipei’s Jungong Road signed a petition to change the name of their street to Section 4, Heping East Road. The residents say the roads, separated by only a tunnel, are along the same line and different names can cause confusion. Another motive is the boost in housing prices expected to come with the more famous road name. Approval could be given later this year.

White Strawberries
A Dahu Township, Miaoli County farmer has figured out how to cultivate white strawberries. The fruit, which is hugely popular in Japan, has a texture much like a peach. It has a richer aroma than the normal red strawberries which grow in Dahu.

為了讓自行車族冷天、雨天都能騎車運動，屏科大資管系有4名學生研發出一套虛擬騎乘軟體，透過手機遙控電腦，電腦螢幕上就能出現Google Map的街景實況，或是車友上傳的路徑，在家騎車就好像騎遍全世界。

現在只要在手機上下載這套軟體，在家騎車也能像在路騎一起逍遙自在。

(手機)是一個操控電腦的遙控器，讓使用者騎乘者比較方便，可以在腳踏車前面直接用按的，就可以直接控制(電腦)螢幕。

手機軟體導入GPS衛星定位系統，再連結到Google Map的街景實況，街景車經過的任何一個角落都能在電腦螢幕上出現。

不只可以沿著GOOGLE MAP的街景走，還能分享車友上傳的路徑。

它是社群的一個形式，所以車友們可以自己拍一些影片下來，放在社群網站上面，大家可以共享這段影片，他在家裏騎的時候就可以騎其他車友騎過的路線。

這套軟體獲得經濟部技術處搶鮮大賽的冠軍，近期內也會開放讓民眾免費下載。

最新的全球最安全航空公司排名出爐，由澳洲航空公司摘下榜首，而我國的長榮航空也擠進前十名。

這項評鑑是透過七項指標來評分，包括是否名列歐盟黑名單、過去十年有沒有致命失事記錄等標準，作為給分依據。以長榮為例，除了連年無致命事故外，機艙內的娛樂品質高等，都是拿下高分的強項。

Flyers who want to touch ground safely take note. Eva Air was named one of the 10 safest airlines in the world by AirlineRatings.com. 

Criteria included whether airlines had any fatal accidents in the past decade or had been cited by the European Union for safety violations. Eva Air also received the highest rating for its in-flight product.

國道收費爭議，現在連警方也來摻一腳。警政署發給高公局和遠通電收的公文曝光，內容提到為了偵查犯罪，要求提供全部車輛行駛國道紀錄，引發侵犯隱私以及違反個資法疑慮，人權團體批評，車主資料依法只能用於收費，警方要辦案，不應該搭遠通便車，而是得自己掏腰包裝攝影機。

全台三百多座國道ETC感應門架，都加裝攝影鏡頭認車牌。

這種辨識車牌的功能被警政署看上，還發文高公局與遠通電收，基於犯罪偵查與維護治安目的，希望能蒐集全部國道行車紀錄。

這也引發過度監控的疑慮，警政署澄清，此系統並非24小時全紀錄，而是藉著遠通的鏡頭，幫警方辨識贓車，但人權團體依然抨擊。

“如何追蹤贓車，警方應該用自己的預算，自己的方法去處理，能夠搭電子收費的便車，讓我們每一個人都成為，被國家監控的對象，我申請etag，我是為了要繳費，你遠通怎麼可以把我這個資料交給警察局呢?”

2006年ETC剛上路，警方就打過民間業者的主意，希望可以整合系統，合作抓贓車，當時遠通電收沒有答應，這次又再度被遠通拒絕。

Far Eastern is also dealing with pressure from the National Police Agency. The agency wants to use the toll operator’s cameras to identify stolen cars, but Far Eastern is resisting due to potential privacy concerns. 

There are more than 300 electronic toll collection sensors on national freeways, with each one accompanied by a camera that can identify license plates.

The National Police Agency submitted a request to share license plate information collected by the National Freeway Bureau and Far Eastern. It believes the cameras could serve as an important tool for catching fugitives and maintaining safety.

Some groups raised concerns about surveillance and privacy. The agency clarified that the system doesn’t record information 24 hours a day. It said the primary purpose would be to identify stolen cars, but failed to temper criticism from human rights groups.

遠通電收eTag扣錯錢，昨天改口願意加倍奉還，以一年為期，一年後，會考慮成為賠償通則，引來通部長葉匡時說出重話，年底系統若沒改善，會考慮終止合約。

針對錯帳，遠通電收改口會「加倍奉還」，期限一年。

不過，一年後考慮成為賠償通則的說法，引來交通部長不滿。

遠通曾因ETC使用率未達七成，遭高公局罰款四億餘元，卻分文未繳，還提出訴訟反制。而且國道人工收費，每年高公局編列10億元來營運，現在計程收費上路後，高公局每年卻要付給遠通電收17億元。

Transportation Ministry threatens to terminate contract with toll operator (2014/01/10)

As drivers continue to complain about errors with the new electronic toll collection system, the Ministry of Transportation has made its strongest threat to date. The ministry threatened to terminate Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection’s contract to operate the system if improvements aren’t made by the end of the year. But with past action proving hollow, Legislator Lo Shu-lei doubts that the ministry would follow through. 

Far Eastern gave into the Ministry of Transportation once. After resisting calls for extra compensation when its eTag system overcharges drivers, it agreed to refund at least double the amount overcharged for up to a year.

全國大專校院校長會議昨天登場，總統馬英九出席發言，引爆震撼彈！他對於爭執已久的大學學雜費調整問題，鬆口表示可以討論，還舉油電調漲為例，說久了就習慣了。這席話引來朝野立委痛批失言，學生及家長也認為，這是置學生的死活於不顧。

昨天的全國大學校院校長會議，外頭就有反教育商品化的學生來抗議，沒想到總統馬英九，在會議上這一席話，更引發批評聲浪。

先前有5所私立大學打算漲學費，引發學生反彈，目前只剩實踐大學、淡江大學、世新大學，仍研擬調漲。

Cash-strapped consumers are angry over President Ma Ying-jeou’s latest gaffe. Ma suggested that people should just get used to higher gasoline and electricity prices, leading to widespread criticism. 

As the National Conference of University and College Presidents occurred yesterday, protesters outside demonstrated against the commercialization of education. More fuel was added to the fire by President Ma.

Travel Alert for Beijing (2014/01/10)

In the wake of the H5N1 bird flu outbreak in China, the Mainland Affairs Council has issued a yellow travel alert for Beijing, warning against unnecessary travel.

The same alert was already in place for several parts of southern China. One week ago, a Canadian traveler who had just returned home from Beijing died of H5N1.

東台灣的花蓮好山好水，但在偏鄉部落卻也普遍資源匱乏，不少居民生活困苦，卻又處於法令補助邊緣，成了社福孤兒。所以，在當地有一群女老師，放棄穩定的教職，決定當起愛的宅急便，她們幾乎全年無休的上山下海，開著車穿梭在城市鄉村，找尋需要被幫助的個案、發送物資，一做就是10多年。

罐頭、餅乾、白米，交叉搭配組合，志工們正準備將這些企業捐贈物資，一袋一袋，親手送進部落。

“B餐，它有麵條，因為B餐的部分，大概二至三個人左右，A餐的話，大概就是四到六個人左右，所以我們會有白米，因為可能開伙的機會比較大”

穿過鐵皮屋下成排衣架，眼前出現的是一位57歲的太魯閣族單親媽媽，靠打零工，養活當前一家五口。

這「外面」的三個子女，是單親媽媽張愛妹與前夫所生，即使已經成年，卻並未幫忙分擔家計。

“妳低收入戶沒有過，是因為你有幾個成年的小孩，在政府來計算的話，他們會計算孩子對妳有扶養的義務”

像這樣家境困苦，卻因為名下有三名成人子女，而喪失社會補助資格的個案家庭，正是她們救援的對象。

隨志工腳步，鏡頭一步步接近的是間殘破失修的年老木屋，屋簷下住的，則是一戶半年前，才發生急難變故的隔代家庭。

“ (孩子)爸爸本來在羅東那邊工作，是很固定的工作，然後突然間暴斃”

送物資的當下，卻發現另一項，需迫切解決的當務之急，屋頂漏水。

“通常我們就會借助，民間團體大家的資源，譬如說有些就是專門幫人修繕房子，有些就是會做兒童的助養”

常常為了這些個案，忙到沒日沒夜，五個幹部曾有個共同身分，那就是「老師」，其中四位，更是為了投身公益，放棄教職的瘋狂教師

“因為那時候校長知道我在外面做公益，有一次他就找我到辦公室談，他跟我說，貞慧，一個人一段時間只能做一件事，因為他擔心我一到五之後，六日沒有好好休息或是好好備課，會影響我教書的品質”

放棄穩定的教職收入，上山下海從事社會服務，現實的經濟問題，也曾影響過她們。還好靠著民間企業資助，以及發揮二手衣物的價值，讓協會漸漸茁壯。

“那因為長年下來，我們發現我們收到的東西很多，又很容易沒有經過處理，就會壞掉，所以我們後來集思廣益，就覺得那不然我們有一種方式，就是把它拿出來做二手愛心小鋪”

送不完的可以做義賣，義賣所得再拿來作為，添購食物包的來源，但究竟要多少的食物包，才有辦法溫飽所有需要救助的家庭。

“其實有時候我們發物資發久了，也會覺得，我做這些事情真的有用嗎，好像你在對著深谷丟食物，可是當我覺得在服務的過程裡面，透過不同面向的回饋，會覺得說，我做這件事情，是有意義的”

回饋，成為志工們，不斷走下去的力量。

她是協會關懷多年的新住民媽媽，總在協會辦活動時，把滿滿的感恩，化為一道道的美味料理。

眼前這位身穿志工T恤的66歲老奶奶，也是協會關懷的新住民個案之一。

“其實大家來花蓮，都會去那種很漂亮的景緻風景區，或是說在網路上很漂亮的景點嘛，但是我也會跟大家說，其實真正漂亮的景點，不是在你看到的那些，因為當我去走訪這樣各個鄉鎮的那種部落裡面，我發現裡面真的很漂亮，而最漂亮的莫過於就是，人的笑容”

Group of teachers travels eastern Taiwan to make charitable deliveries (2014/01/12)

Eastern Taiwan is known for its plentiful natural scenery, but a trip into the region’s many small mountain communities shows insufficient resources. Many villagers lack necessities but do not qualify for government support. Helping them get through their struggles are five female teachers who, for the past decade, have dedicated themselves to delivering goods and services to people in need. 

Volunteers work to organize cans, biscuits, rice and other items donated by local enterprises. Goods will be delivered by hand to mountain communities.

Panda Cub 
The Taipei Zoo’s debut of its panda cub, Yuanzai, is drawing unexpected crowds to nearby Maokung Gondola. This is due to the fact that the Taipei Zoo’s main gate has been suddenly crowded with the zoo quickly running out of tickets to the Panda Pavilion each day. This has led some visitors to bypass this crowd by using the gondola to enter the zoo. On Saturday, a new record was set as 17,000 people took the gondola.

World Pinwheel Record
Embrace Creative Park near Keelung’s Yuemei Road saw a total of 120,000 pinwheels assembled into the shape of the Rubber Duck. Today, a representative from the Guinness Book of World Records certified the event as a world record in terms of being the largest pinwheel work of art.

Cold, Wet Weather
The brief spell of good weather over the weekend quickly turned, as a continental cold air mass travelled south. From this evening till Wednesday, all areas of Taiwan can expect cold, wet weather with high mountain areas potentially experiencing the chance of snow.

新北市泰北高中高三生曾丞璿，從國中開始用樂高積木拍攝〝定格動畫〞，4年來，已經有23部作品。

最近，他以電影〝雷神索爾〞的角色，設計劇情、用5千張照片，以每秒25張的速度播放。才剛PO上網，就有好幾萬上點閱觀賞。

Lego Stop-Motion Animation (2014/01/12)

A senior high school student in New Taipei, Jordan Tseng, uses Legos to create stop-motion animation. Over the past four years, he has created 23 different videos.

His newest work, "Thor, Brother’s Fight” was recently posted on-line. He wrote the story and composed 5,000 different shots, approximately 25 per second of video. At the moment, his latest video is proving quite popular, already attracting more than 30,000 views

New Pxmart President, Hsu Cheng-jun, to launch lucky gift bag promotion (2014/01/12)

Department stores typically offer consumers the chance to purchase lucky gift bags over the Lunar New Year Holiday. Pxmart will soon join the action, spurred on by its new president. Hsu Chung-jen hopes to position Pxmart somewhere between hypermarkets and convenience stores, raising fears among other retailers. 

Here at the checkout counter an announcement is being made about the store’s sale of lucky gift bags. This is the new promotion plan devised by the company’s new leader, Hsu Chung-jen, former general manager of the President Chain Store.

Hsu’s plans for revamping Pxmart extend beyond selling lucky gift bags as he also hopes to give a facelift to storefronts, also widening the shopping aisles and lowering and putting fruits and vegetables placed in the middle of the store. He hopes to position Pxmart somewhere between hypermarkets and convenience stores.
