It is supposed to be the happiest day of any woman’s life but an Indian air force official decided he could upstage his future wife -- by dropping in from 7,000 feet.
這理當是女人一生中最快樂的日子，不過一名印度空官決定，他或許能搶了未來老婆的光彩─藉著從7,000英尺高空墜下。
Shisir Mishra, an accomplished sky diver, jumped from a helicopter and landed in a sports ground close to the bride’s home.
技術純熟的跳傘愛好者席瑟．米希拉從直升機躍下，並降落在新娘住家附近的運動場。
Mishra, along with three friends jumped free fall before opening his parachute a few hundred feet from the ground and landing to cheers from hundreds of well-wishers at the wedding ceremony.
與3位友人一起進行自由落體跳傘的米希拉，在距地面數百英尺時拉開降落傘，並在數百名婚宴賀客歡呼聲中降落。
"The idea of doing something on the occasion of my marriage struck me after I read about a couple getting married in a hot air balloon recently," said Mishra, whose bride gifted him a bouquet on arrival.

"Not for a moment was I scared. I was sure he would make it," bride Sweta Prusty said.

Mishra previously won a place in the Limca Book of Records -- the Indian equivalent of the Guinness World Records -- for jumping free fall from 15,000 feet with the Indian national flag in hand.
米希拉先前在林卡紀錄─相當於印度的金氏世界紀錄，贏得一席之地。他所創的紀錄是從1萬5000英尺高空進行自由落體跳傘，手中還拿著印度國旗。
