第八十五屆奧斯卡頒獎典禮在台北時間上午九點半登場，包括李安的最佳導演獎，少年Pi的奇幻漂流總共拿下四項大獎，是最大贏家。獲得七項提名的【亞果出任務】，則摘下最佳影片等三個獎項。
第八十五屆奧斯卡頒獎典禮在洛杉磯杜比劇院隆重登場，主持人麥克法蘭的脫口秀表演也讓全場笑翻天。

敘述伊朗人質危機秘辛的【亞果出任務】，則拿下最大獎最佳影片，另外還拿下最佳改編劇本與最佳剪輯。
至於台灣導演李安不負眾望，這次靠著少年Pi的奇幻漂流勇奪最佳導演獎，少年Pi另外還囊括最佳攝影、視覺效果與配樂。

競爭激烈的最佳女主角項目，最後由【派特的幸福劇本】的珍妮佛勞倫斯摘下生平第一座小金人。
最佳男主角人選沒有意外，由英國男星丹尼爾戴路易斯以電影【林肯】奪下，成為奧斯卡史上拿過三座影帝獎項第一人。
奧地利男星克里斯多夫華茲，以【決殺令】拿下最佳男配角，這也是他繼三年前的【惡棍特工】一片、二度在這個獎項掄元。

美國甜心女伶安海瑟薇在【悲慘世界】的真情演出令人動容，奪下首座最佳女配角獎。
Taiwan’s Ang Lee is celebrating the second Best Director Oscar of his career after winning for “Life of Pi.” The 3D film led this year’s Academy Awards with four wins. Also doing well was the Ben Affleck thriller “Argo,” which won three awards, including Best Picture.
The 85th Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles this morning. Seth McFarlane was the host of the event, entertaining the crowd with plentiful inside jokes and witty commentary.

Argo tells the previously classified story about an American hostage rescue in post- revolutionary Iran. The film was so top-secret that even the film’s director is unknown to the Academy.
“Argo,” which describes a harrowing hostage rescue in Iran, would go on to win Best Picture as well as Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Editing.
Taiwanese filmmaker Ang Lee won Best Director for “Life of Pi.” The film also won for cinematography, visual effects and original score.

In the Best Actress category, Jennifer Lawrence grabbed her first Oscar for her performance in “Silver Lining Playbook.”
Best Actor went to Britain’s Daniel Day-Lewis for his reprisal of the title character in the film “Lincoln.” He is the first to male to win three Best Actor awards.
Austrian actor Christoph Waltz won Best Supporting Actor for “Django Unchained.” complimenting his win three years ago with “Inglourious Basterds.”

My deepest gratitude goes to Dr. King Schulz, and of course to the director who created him, Quentin Tarantino.
Anne Hathaway also won over audiences for her part in the musical “Les Miserables.” She walked away with her first Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.
