雪隧好搶手
每到週休二日，國道五號雪隧路線，葛瑪蘭和首都客運，幾乎都是班班客滿，因此交通部決定，再開放國光客運加入，為了搶攻市場，國光客運更創首例，25日到27日三天的試營運期間，全程免費。

試劑檢肉粽
端午節即將到來，為了保障食品安全，衛生機關除了大動作抽驗粽子相關食材，也提供民眾可以自己把關的檢測劑三偏磷酸鈉，讓民眾可以自行檢驗違規防腐劑，避免吃進肚子裡的肉粽，都是對有害人體的化學物質。

熱低壓成形
今天凌晨兩點，在菲律賓東方海面，有個熱帶性低氣壓，悄悄形成，目前往北的方向移動，氣象局表示，未來一兩天，不排除形成輕颱，再加上週日會有鋒面報到，將影響到下週四，氣象局預估，今年端午節，天氣將很不穩定。

Hsuehshan Tunnel Buses 
Every weekend the buses operated by Kamalan and Capital bus that travel through Hsuehshan Tunnel are nearly all full. The Transportation Ministry has therefore decided to let another bus operator, Kuo Kuang Motor Transport, operate on this route. To grab market share, the company will provide free passage on this route during a trial period from June 25 to 27.

Zongzi Testing
With Dragon Boat Festival quickly approaching, Department of Health authorities stepped up spot checks of ingredients commonly used in zongzi. They also handed out test kits that consumers can use to protect themselves from excessive levels of preservatives.

Tropical Depression Forms
Early Friday morning a tropical depression formed off the east seas of the Philippines. The weather system is moving north, and forecasters say it could develop into a tropical storm within the next couple days. This, together with a weather front arriving on Sunday and lingering until Thursday, could lead to poor weather over the Dragon Boat Festival.
