民主被破門

為了抗議張志軍來台，反黑箱服貿民主陣線與民主鬥陣成員，24號晚間提前住進桃園機場的諾富特飯店，沒想到今天一早被飯店安全人員破門闖入，要求離開。飯店表示，因為進房人數太多了，又沒有配合登記身分，才會這樣處理。

五名西裝壯漢，進入房間，要房間內的民眾拿出證件登記。被拒絕後直接下逐客令。

員警守在房門外，拿攝影機蒐證，這群要抗議張志軍的團體，從房內的落地窗，對外面舉布條。

“這個是對個人隱私跟自由的侵犯，我們什麼時候住飯店的時候，你全家大小每一個人，都要把你的身分證拿出來登記”

不過飯店認為，客房登記一人，卻進來七、八個人，又不配合登記身分，一切於法有據。

“基於所有房客的安全，還有我們員工的安全考量之下，我們按照交通部管理辦法，我們通知當地的警察單位，來協助我們處理後續”

賴中強認為，住宿期間未進行任何違法不當之行為，張志軍來台灣，人民的居住自由倒退了20年。

Zhang Zhijun’s arrival in Taiwan leads to crackdown on protestors (2014/06/25)

While Zhang Zhijun has made a point of wanting to hear views not often expressed to Beijing officials, local police and security agencies are doing everything they can to keep protesters at bay. Today this included the eviction of a group of protesters that stayed in a Taoyuan hotel where Wang met his Taiwanese counterpart. The hotel defended the eviction by saying the protesters did not follow registration procedures.

Five security staff wearing suits entered this room and demanded that occupants produce ID. After the occupants failed to prove they had registered, they were forced to leave.

Police waiting outside the door used a camera to collect evidence. A banner the group placed on the window was to protest to the arrival of Chinese official Zhang Zhijun.

This is a violation of personal privacy and freedom. Who has ever stayed in a hotel where the entire family, young and old, must produce ID?

The hotel had a different opinion, saying the reservation was only done in one person’s name while there were seven to eight people in the room. This violation of registration rules made them illegal occupants.

The lawyer for the group evicted from the room believes his clients did nothing illegal. He added that Zhang Zhijun’s visit has set back the freedom of Taiwan citizens by 20 years.
