立法院新會期，明天就要正式開議，國民黨下午照例舉行，立法行政部門議事研討會，重點還是審查兩岸服貿協議，行政院長江宜樺說，站在國家前途的立場，希望服貿通過的時間越快越好，不過民進黨則揚言，要仔細審查服貿協議，三月不可能過關。

行政院長江宜樺親自跟黨內立委，一個一個握手拜託，希望兩岸服貿協議，能夠在明天開議的新會期，順利過關。

不過立法院長王金平卻不敢打包票。

畢竟民進黨來勢洶洶，不但不看好服貿協議能夠如馬總統所希望的在三月過關，連這個會期過關都有難度。

“三月份(過關)絕對不可能嘛，這個會期會不會過關，套一句我們總召講的話，機會渺茫啦”

爭議不斷的高中課綱微調，也傳出台聯立委認定去台灣化，打算霸佔主席台，不讓江宜樺上台報告，新會期還沒開議，朝野已經嗅到火藥味。

The new legislative session begins tomorrow. On the docket is the trade-in-services pact that Taiwan and China signed more than half a year ago. The agreement still awaits legislative approval, and the opposition DPP plans to do everything in its power to block it. 

Premier Jiang Yi-huah shook the hands of each member of the KMT caucus today. His personal touch was part of an attempt to win support for the trade-in-services pact Taiwan signed with China. Jiang hopes the pact can clear the Legislature in the spring session that opens tomorrow.

For the sake of the nation’s future, we hope that this passes as soon as possible. The timeframe is not decided by the Cabinet.

President Ma Ying-jeou has said that he would like to see the pact pass next month. Standing in the way is the DPP.

It’s impossible for this to pass in March. As for whether it will pass during this legislative session, I can cite a phrase used by our caucus whip: the chances are slim.

Another issue that will come up this legislative session is the Ministry of Education’s recent changes to the high school curriculum. The TSU believes these changes are emphasizing Greater China ideology at the expense of Taiwan. Its legislators are planning to occupy the speaker’s podium to prevent the premier from giving his opening report.
