馬總統新年誓言拚經濟，主要目標就是加入TPP和RCEP，今天還特別召回34位駐外代表、參事回國接受特訓！馬總統還趁機呼籲立法院，要盡快通過服貿協議，展現我國簽署自由貿易協議的決心。
馬政府為了爭取加入TPP和RCEP，特別召回準駐美代表沈呂巡、駐日代表沈斯淳等34位駐外人員回國，接受四天的經貿談判、策略規劃等特訓。

話鋒一轉，要求對中國的服貿協議，立法院必須盡快通過。

“各國駐華的外交人員，還有其他國家的經貿部門都在看，他們覺得，為什麼在國會耽擱這麼久，所以這方面，我們一定要趕快來完成，否則的話一定會影響這些國家，對於我們參加TPP或RCEP的決心”
立法院新會期本周五登場，服貿協議得通過逐條審查才能正式上路。
A top goal of the Ma Ying-jeou administration is to help Taiwan enter regional trade agreements. Today the government called back diplomats to undergo training aimed at helping Taiwan enter the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership.
The TPP and RCEP are two of the proposed regional trade agreements Taiwan has set its sights on. Today 34 diplomats were in Taiwan to receive four days of trade negotiation and strategic planning training. Among them were Shen Lyu-hsun, who will soon become representative to the United States, and Shen Ssu-tsun, the representative to Japan.

The faster the better, the faster the better. The main reason is that we could be marginalized if we don’t act quickly. The losses would be immense.
Ma then turned his attention to an agreement Taiwan has already signed but not passed – the trade-in-services pact with China.

The foreign diplomats stationed in Taiwan and the trade departments of other countries are all watching. They wonder why the pact can be delayed in the Legislature for so long, which is why we must complete this as soon as possible. Otherwise, it will have an impact on the willingness of other countries to let us participate in the TPP or RCEP.
The new legislative session begins Friday. Lawmakers will have to review the cross-strait pact, line by line, before implementation can begin.
