林克穎落跑

3年前，酒駕撞死送報生的英國商人林克穎，去年9月應該要入獄服刑，但8月就潛逃出境，明明是印裔黑人，卻冒用英國白人朋友的護照通關，直到昨天檢方發布通緝，並約談這名友人到案，整起事件才曝光，移民署將失職查驗記一次大過。

讓林克穎潛逃出境的人，就是這名英國籍白人男子邱凱，但他跟林克穎的外型真的是天差地遠，林克穎是印度裔黑人，捲髮瘦高，邱凱是英國白人，接近光頭體型壯碩，兩人之前在同一家公司，檢方懷疑邱凱掩護昔日長官，約談到案。

2010年3月，林克穎酒駕撞死送報生，去年二審宣判4年，其中過失致死和酒駕兩罪無法上訴，必須在9月21日入獄服刑，卻始終沒到案。

本案之所以迄今發布通緝，一方面是因為調閱，國內各機場 港口，關於出境之監視錄影畫面，以查明林克穎是否確實已出境，耗費時日，另外一方面乃為了，確實掌握David之行蹤”

檢方追查發現，他趁7月26日部分判刑確定，到卷宗送達北檢的一個月空窗期脫逃，連闖機場3關，順利逃亡。

林克穎早就有潛逃紀錄，從前叫柯睿明，因為使用盜版軟體遭起訴，出境躲避審判，改名後才重新來台做生意。

Zain Dean foils immigration officials and skips prison sentence (2013/01/30)

Outrage has erupted after a UK national convicted of vehicular homicide managed to flee Taiwan. Even more incredible: the ethnic Indian flew out of the country using the passport of a Caucasian colleague. 

Many find it incredulous that this foreign fugitive, Zain Dean, who has a dark complexion and is of Indian ethnicity, was able to use the passport of a Caucasian British national. There are other differences between the two including hair style and body type. The pair previously worked together, and prosecutors suspect this person, named David, knowingly lent his passport to Dean.

In March 2010 Dean killed a newspaper deliveryman while driving drunk. An appeal last year upheld his sentence, and he was given four years of jail time. Both charges of wrongful death and drunk driving could not be appealed and his prison sentence was to commence on Sept. 21, but he failed to report.

We issued an all points bulletin today because it took a long time to review all of the customs footage at domestic airports and ports. Identifying that Zain Dean had indeed left Taiwan was quite time consuming, and we also had to find the exact whereabouts of David.

Prosecutors learned that after sentencing on July 26 there was a one month window where he could escape. His information was sent to airports, but he managed to pass through three checkpoints and leave the country.

In fact, we are also puzzled, because this inspector is considered quite senior. This negligence of duty will be result in a major demerit.

Even more troubling about Dean’s flight from Taiwan is the fact that this is not the first time he has duped immigration officials. He previously entered the country as Khala Hami before fleeing a conviction related to pirating Microsoft software.
