巴西夜店大火，釀成重大傷亡，類似的情景，讓我們回憶起，2011年台中阿拉夜店大火，造成9死12傷的悲劇。
阿拉夜店大火後，立院也在同年5月修法明訂，室內表演明火，得先申請。如果違反相關規定，會處以3到15萬元的罰鍰，並且會逕行連續的處罰。希望各界重視公共消防安全。巴西夜店火災，悲劇不能一再上演，更需要台灣民眾引以為戒。
The Brazilian nightclub fire has led many to remember a similar tragedy which occurred two years ago at a nightclub Taichung. That fire claimed nine lives and injured a dozen.
The deadly fire at the Ala nightclub led to new restrictions on the use of open flames at indoor performances. Failure to comply would result in a fine of between NT$30,000 and 150,000. The law was intended to prevent tragedies such as the one that occurred in Brazil.
