機捷今年測
一蓋十八年還不能完工的機場捷運，傳出好消息，目前土建工程已完成95%，機電工程也正在加緊安裝。高鐵局預計，最快六、七月就能開始測試，如果順利，將在明年底通車。
國際電玩展

Taoyuan Airport MRT Line
Good news has emerged related to the metro line which runs to Taoyuan International Airport. Eighteen years after construction began, civil engineering is now 95 percent complete and electrical systems are being installed. The Bureau of High Speed Rail estimates that testing of the system can begin as early as the middle of this year. If everything goes smoothly, the line will open by the end of the year.
2014 Taipei Game Show
The five-day Taipei Game Show is underway at the Taipei World Trade Center. Exhibitors have filled close to one thousand booths, doubling last year’s size. When the event started today, over 10,000 people poured in.
Cold Spell Weakens
The cold stream affecting Taiwan over the past couple of days made one last stand early Thursday morning, dropping the low in Chiayi to 6.8 degrees Celsius, the coldest it has been this year in a low-lying area of Taiwan. The system has now weakened, but a cold air mass is expected to arrive at the end of the week and will remain until Tuesday.
