南台灣瘋熱氣球，屏東大鵬灣在農曆春節期間也要舉辦熱氣球嘉年華，不過，海陸交界的大鵬灣，有人認為風不小，並不適宜飛熱氣球，果不其然，主辦單位下午嘗試將2個熱氣球灌風，就受到風大影響，只成功一半。

大鵬灣也要跟流行，記者會中要展示兩個熱氣球，但似乎不太順利。

強風一陣一陣吹來，把燈籠造形的熱氣球吹得東倒西歪。幸好另一個圓仔造形的熱氣球稍微爭氣一點，總算灌氣成功，但沒過多久，又被強風攪局。

四級風就不可以了，在我們的風力計算就是，三級風以下都可以起(飛)，今天大概是四級半，各位剛剛可以看到那個球是搖來搖去。

熱氣球這幾年來成為全台活動的新寵，光是農曆過年期間，南部除了屏東大鵬灣之外，高雄美濃，和台南走馬瀨都有熱氣球，勢必分散空中商機，但業者仍是信心滿滿。

評估過了，基本上我們這邊的條件，是他們所有去安排這個活動最好的一個，創造的商機可以說是無限。

不過，海陸交會的大鵬灣，冬天東北季風較強，有人就認為地點並不適合熱氣球，連記者會這天成功機率都只有一半，之後能否順利，將是決定人潮和錢潮的關鍵。

Strong winds could make for bumpy balloon rides in Dapeng Bay (2014/01/20)

Pingtung County is entering the hot air balloon business by offering rides in Dapeng Bay this Lunar New Year. But strong winds at a press conference today suggested that it won’t all be smooth sailing. 

Dapeng Bay’s initial foray into the hot air balloon craze didn’t go so well during today’s press conference.

Strong gusts of wind blew a lantern-shaped balloon in all directions. Another panda-shaped balloon seemed to have more success, though it too was blown around.

We have calculated that we can fly in level 3 winds, but not level 4 winds. Today the winds are about 4.5. You can see how the balloons sway.

Hot air balloons have grown in popularity over the past few years. During the Lunar New Year holiday, besides Dapeng Bay, they will fly in Meinong, Kaohsiung and Tsou-Ma-Lai Farm, Tainan. This Dapeng operator doesn’t seem too concerned about business going elsewhere.
