今天主計處公布4月的物價指數，比起去年同期漲1.65%，創下14個月多來新高。
主計處表示，因為與民眾生活息息相關的食物類，連兩個月漲幅都超過5%，所以民眾對漲價的感受會比較深。
Taiwan’s consumer price index rose 1.65 percent in April compared to a year earlier, the government’s statistics bureau announced today.
It was the highest rise in 14 months. More troubling for consumers is that the rise in foodstuffs prices exceeded 5 percent for a second straight month.
